Welcome to Summer!

 

Time flies when you’re having fun. Time also seems to fly when you’re buried up to you ass in a design project. Does that mean that design is fun? The jury’s out on that one but the fact is, it’s summer! This week is the last week of the first half of summer term. Next week we’re off for a break and then back for the second half with mostly all-new courses and all-new professors.

This week is also Alex’s last full week of school. He’s got two days next week but then he’s out for the summer. A full year of school complete. Crazy. Sure, it hasn’t been all rainbows and puppies, but he made it! Hopefully next year he continues to improve so that by gr. 1 he’ll be golden.

Because of school our vacation time is somewhat limited this year but we are managing to squeeze in a small vacation next week and heading to Toronto for a few days. Plans are to take in the zoo and Ontario Place so look for pictures and video from that in a couple weeks!
