So it’s now official. I can walk!!! Tonight after mommy came home from work, I decided to try my legs at more than a step or two and WOW, it wasn’t that bad. I think I’m going to start walking everywhere now!
And next, yes, I am a day late on my updates. Because of the heat, my parents moved us into the basement where it was slightly cooler and we forgot to bring the book down with us. Daddy finally remembered tonight, so I’m updating it now.
So, by the end of the 11th month, I SHOULD be able to:
*get into a sitting position from stomach – yup.
*pick up tiny object with any part of thumb and finger - I especially like to pick up fluff and put it in my mouth.
*understand the word “no” – hee hee, I do, but of course rarely listen.
Will PROBABLY be able to:
*play patty-cake or wave bye-bye – still just clapping, no waving yet.
*walk holding onto furniture - hey we know I was doing this one.
May POSSIBLY be able to:
*stand momentarily – have to stand to be able to walk!:)
*say dada or mama indiscriminately – yup.
*say one word other than mama or dada – close, but not yet.
May even be able to:
*stand alone well – yup.
*indicate wants in ways other than crying – not really, no point or jesturing yet.
*play ball - I do roll my ball across the coffee table.
*drink from a cup independantly – I’m working on this the sippy cup still confused me.
*use immature jargoning – I’m doing this, soon I will say a word.
*say thre or more words other than mama or dada – nope.
*respond to a one-step command without gestures – I still need gestures.
*walk well – it’s kinda ungangly, but I’m walking!
