So, I think most everyone knows that my schedule changed. It kinda sucks, but it was the only one that was close enough to Rob’s schedule and would also mean I wouldn’t have to do quality anymore at work.

So, in case you are wondering, I work 8 AM – 7 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday is 3 – 5 PM and Friday and Saturday are 12:30 – 10:30 PM. As you can see, super sucky ass shifts. But, it’s better than starting at 7 AM 5 days a week or working until midnight all week.

So…we filed our application for a pre-approved mortgage the other day. Found out this morning that we got it! Yep, you read right – we got ourselves pre-approved for a mortgage.

We meet with the realtor who is going to help us find our very first home on Sunday. And before you ask – no, the house that I linked to a few months back (look for it under the name ‘Announcement’ or something in the archives) isn’t in our budget.

Still, we managed to get pre-approved for more than what we are wanting to spend so we won’t have any problems along that line. It’s just a matter of finding the right house, making the owner’s an offer they can’t refuse, signing the papers and then going a tenth of a million dollars in debt…woohoo! Can’t wait!!!
