Well, back at work today after pretty close to a week off. Didn’t take me long to get caught up. Well, only if you exclude the time it took to fix my computer.

Yup, got back to work to a computer that’s a piece of shit! First thing I found, I couldn’t open up excel. Not a big issue you say, well, guess what I need to use excel for on a daily basis? EVERYTHING!!!!!! To post stats for the agents, excel. To check schedules for the agents, excel. To check how many qualities I need to do for the day, excel. FREAKING EVERYTHING!!! It was a huge piss off.

Of course, I wasn’t that upset right away, we have a website we go to that we can send tickets to the IT department to fix any computer issues. It’s call SOS. So, right at 11 AM, the start of my shift, I start working on creating a ticket.

Guess what? It doesn’t work!!!!! I can’t submit a ticket! Great, my day just got better.

So anyway, had Tracy II create a ticket for by broken SOS and for my excel. Now, I get to twiddle my thumbs. Wheeee….. this is fun. Usually IT comes by to fix issues relatively quickly. I’ve had tickets closed in 15 minutes before. Not today though.

Yup, finally, at 3 PM, IT finally comes to my desk and that was because I messaged them on our chat program. Yes, the ticket Tracy submitted, she did put my name on it, they just decided to not read it. Lovely, eh?

So finally at almost 4 PM, I can finally start doing my work. So, I had four hours to get caught up from last Tuesday!!! Funny thing, I actually got it all done.

Woot woot, for me!

So a lot has happened this week.

Most of you are probably aware of this, but my Grandfather passed away on Wednesday. So been busy all week helping my mom out with that. Fortunately work is great about Bereavement, and I was able to pretty much take the week off. Good thing too, as the viewing and funeral are on Sunday and Monday respectively. Because of that, I won’t be able to get my errands that I do on my days off done. (I’m off on Sundays and Mondays)

So, part of this is to update everyone on the endevours of the comic. Most of you know, that it has been at a stand still because illustrator SUCKS!!! Well, I figure, it’s not going to happen as long as I try to use illustrator. So, I’ve been working on the comic on paper, so it can be scanned in later. Of course, some of the comics transpire around me and my love of illustrator. So, today, I finished off three comics. They were all in illustrator. So hopefully, we can start posting them soon. Only thing we are waiting on is a scanner.

Grrr…. I really hate spending money on stuff like this, but I think doing this will be fun. So, I guess, Rob and I will probably end up in Best Buy or Future Shop soon.
